Raphael Lukas Sallinger (born December 8, 1995 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .
Career
society
Sallinger began his career at FC Kärnten . In 2007 he moved to FC Welzenegg . In March 2011 he was for the first time in the squad of the fighting team in the national league . In the same year, however, he rose with the Klagenfurters in the fifth class lower division . After returning to the fourth division, Sallinger made his debut in the Carinthian league against FC Lendorf in July 2012 .
In September 2012 he moved to the regional division SC Kalsdorf . That month he also made his debut against LASK for the Styrians in the regional league . After half a year at Kalsdorf, Sallinger moved to Germany in January 2013 to the A-Juniors of 1. FC Kaiserslautern .
After he was in the squad of the second team for the first time in March 2014, he made his debut for this in August 2014 against the second team of SC Freiburg in the regional league . In April 2015, Sallinger was also part of the professional squad for the first time; however, he was not allowed to work.
After 20 games for Kaiserslautern II, Sallinger returned to Austria for the 2016/17 season, where he joined the Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC , where he received a contract valid until June 2018. He made his debut in the Bundesliga in April 2017, when he started against SV Mattersburg on matchday 31 of that season . After the 2017/18 season he left the WAC and switched to league rivals TSV Hartberg .
National team
Sallinger played for an Austrian team for the first time in March 2015 when he was on the starting line-up in a test match for the U-20 team against Mexico and was replaced by Johannes Kreidl at half-time .
