Borna Petrović (born October 16, 1997 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian football player .

Career

society

Petrović started his career at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb . In May 2015 he was against NK Zadar for the first time in the professional squad of Lokomotiva. In February 2016 it was awarded to the second division club NK Lučko Zagreb . In two and a half years on loan, he came to 78 appearances for Lučko in the 2nd HNL , in which he scored 14 goals. After the end of the loan, he did not return to Lokomotiva for the 2018/19 season, but moved to league rivals Dinamo Zagreb . From Dinamo he was awarded directly to the league competitor NK Rudeš . He made his debut in the 1st HNL in July 2018 when he started against Dinamo Zagreb on matchday one of that season. In August 2018 he scored his first goal in the 1st HNL in a 2-1 defeat against HNK Rijeka . By the winter break he came to 14 missions for Rudeš in the top Croatian league and scored one goal.

In January 2019 he was awarded to the NK Široki Brijeg in Bosnia and Herzegovina . For Brijeg he completed eleven games in the Premijer Liga by the end of the season , in which he remained without a goal. It was awarded a third time for the 2019/20 season, this time to the NK Rudar Velenje in Slovenia . For Velenje he made 16 games in the 1st SNL in that season , in which he scored three goals. With Velenje he remained without a win that season and was relegated at the end of the season as bottom of the table from the 1st SNL.

After the end of the loan, Petrović did not return to Dinamo, but moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club TSV Hartberg for the 2020/21 season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.

National team

Between November 2015 and February 2016, Petrović played twice for the Croatian U-19 team .
