Philipp Sturm (born February 23, 1999 ) is an Austrian soccer player . The midfielder is a young Austrian national player.

Career

Sturm began his career at SV Wals-Grünau . In 2009 he joined the youth team of FC Red Bull Salzburg . In September 2016 he made his debut against Vardar Skopje for the Salzburg U19 team in the UEFA Youth League , which the team ultimately won.

In February 2017 Sturm made his debut for FC Liefering , the farm team of the "Bulls", in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Masaya Okugawa on matchday 21 of the 2016/17 season against LASK Linz in the 90th minute .

In the 2016/17 season he also played in the U19 team of FC Red Bull Salzburg, with which the midfielder won the UEFA Youth League .

After the 2018/19 season, Sturm left Liefering and moved to the German third division promoted Chemnitzer FC , where he received a two-year contract. After the direct relegation of Chemnitz, he left the club after 13 appearances in the 3rd division after the 2019/20 season.

For the 2020/21 season he returned to Austria and switched to Bundesliga club TSV Hartberg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
