action

Emma, a registrar from Munich , has got into a crisis after more than ten years of marriage . She is no longer happy at home or at work. She listlessly marries couples and her own marriage to Thomas is in dire straits, which is why her hyperintelligent son and the visit to marriage counseling at the couples therapist Dr. Reitlinger can't change anything. Unexpectedly, she stumbles across the musician Ben Martin while planning to buy marriage guides in a bookstore. Twelve years ago they parted ways. Back then, Ben Martin became famous as the composer and singer of the one-hit wonder A Little Forever . At the time, both of them had sung their favorite hit Hallelujah with piano accompaniment in a duet and fell in love. No one had openly confessed his love to the other at the time. When Ben wanted to tell her that he had written his hit just for her, Emma was already going her own way.

The childhood love between Ben and Emma flares up again, although Emma is married and Ben is about to marry his manager. Emma is supposed to marry them both civilly; during the wedding she escapes from the wedding room. Ben and Emma eventually get together.

music

The theme song A Little Forever by lead actor and singer Pasquale Aleardi was released on February 10, 2017.

criticism

  • Doron Wisotzky [...] stages the amusing confusion of feelings with a light hand. It is also fun to follow Nadja Becker [...] in her sometimes awkward attempts to rescue her marriage. ( TV feature film )
