Birte Glang , married Birte Tegeler , (born April 15, 1980 in Recklinghausen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German model , actress and lawyer .

life and career

Glang is the daughter of a teacher couple and the youngest of three siblings. She discovered her passion for acting as a young girl.

Glang did her Abitur at the Willy-Brandt-Gymnasium in Oer-Erkenschwick near Recklinghausen. She then studied law at the Ruhr University in Bochum and completed her studies with the 1st state examination as a lawyer. During her studies, she made her living by modeling . She worked for various fashion labels and brands in Milan , Barcelona , Istanbul , Paris , Los Angeles and Vienna, among others . In 2003 Birte Glang was nominated for the Fashion TV Model Award.

After graduating in 2006, Birte Glang took acting, speaking and breathing lessons from Kristina Walter . End of 2009 Birte Glang was awarded the contract for the series starring the backpacker Heidi Danne in RTL - Soap Among us , they played until the spring of 2011 and a total of 287 episodes. Five months later, she was cast for her first movie starring role alongside Kaya Yanar and Rutger Hauer in the action comedy Agent Ranjid Saves the World . She has been seen in this role since the beginning of 2019. Her exit was announced on July 14, 2020. In April 2019, Glang was on the cover of Playboy .

Glang is married to the music producer and DJ André Tegeler alias Moguai ; the couple has a son. Analogous to her own pregnancy and regression, she shot her own fitness program Move it Mama in Los Angeles in 2017 , which is aimed at pregnant women, mothers in regression and the time thereafter. The family has lived in Cologne since the end of 2018. Birte Glang is her girl's and stage name.

Birte Glang continues as Fairtrade -Unterstützerin for fair trade in the world. In 2010 she took part in the RTL donation marathon for children in need and has been the official ambassador of the German Organ Transplantation Foundation (DSO) since January 2011 . Since 2012, Glang has also been the special ambassador of the “For Life - for Organ Donation” foundation, the DSO foundation. From autumn 2012 she was in a DSO short film with the title In Heaven you don't need luggage on the Internet and as a supporting film in the cinema.
