Merlin is a young society reporter whose fiancé dumped her shortly before the wedding. Devastated, she moves into Jacob and Nuri's shared flat for men. Jacob, a bartender and womanizer with his own attachment disorders, teaches her to get involved in "short-term relationships". A trip to Mallorca for the boys and Merlin ends in chaos after Clara, Simon's pregnant friend, decides to follow them on vacation.

The reaction of the criticism was restrained. The conventional style of the narration and the direction as well as some interludes that were perceived as vulgar were criticized several times.
“The film [is] nothing more than an absolutely commercially available romantic comedy with a few halfway rough moments that can be described far more appropriately with a simple 'what loves each other is teasing'. The comedy about the hardships of two people in their mid-thirties struggling with life and love has nothing to offer, apart from a handful of good ideas (one of the best: the birth lit by sparklers in the middle of a Ballermann dance floor) that does not come in dozen other comedies have been better implemented.
