Andreas Lienhart (born January 28, 1986 in Graz ) is an Austrian football player in the position of midfielder and defender .

Career

society

Lienhart started playing football at the age of six at SV Pirka near Graz. A year later he was drawn to the Grazer AK , where he played in all youth teams (U-8 to U-17). In the meantime he came from 1994 to 1995, as well as from 1995 to 1996 on loan to the lower class Union FC GRAPOS Graz . From 2000 he attended the HIB Liebenau as part of the GAK football academy. Through constant performance, he made the leap from the academy to the amateur team of athletes.

In 2004 Lienhart successfully graduated from HIB Liebenau. From summer 2005 he trained with the professional team of the Grazer AK. In his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga on October 2, 2005 in the game of the athletes against FC Admira Wacker Mödling , he scored his first Bundesliga goal 30 seconds after being substituted on with the first touch of the ball; the game ended in a 4-1 win for the Red Jackets. In 2006 he signed his first professional contract with the GAK.

In January 2007 he switched to the then second division Kapfenberger SV as a cooperation player on loan . The following summer, the transfer rights finally changed to the Kapfenbergers . In the 2007/08 season he was promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga with the Kapfenberg team .

During the summer break before the 2009/10 season , he moved to the Bundesliga relegated SCR Altach in the second-class first division and in 2014 rose again to the Bundesliga with this team. After the 2018/19 season, he left Altach and moved to league competitor TSV Hartberg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

The midfielder, who mostly plays in the right wing position, has also made numerous appearances in the Austrian U-17 and U-19 national team .
