Lukas Gabbichler (born May 12, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Gabbichler began his career at SU Naintsch . For the 2009/10 season he moved to the youth team at SC Weiz . In March 2012 he switched to the Grazer AK . From March 2013 he played in the AKA HIB Liebenau . From the 2014/15 season he was also used in the academy of SK Sturm Graz .

In January 2017 he moved to the fourth-class SV Lebring . In March 2017, he made his debut in the national league when he came on as a substitute for Mario Kreimer on matchday 16 of the 2016/17 season against USV St. Anna in the 73rd minute . In April 2017 he scored his first goal in the national league in a 2-0 win against USV Gnas . By the end of the season he was used in all 14 national league games and scored one goal. In the 2017/18 season he also played all 30 games in which he scored three goals.

For the 2017/18 season Gabbichler moved to the regional division SC Weiz . He made his debut in the regional league in July 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Patrick Durlacher on the first matchday of that season against FC Gleisdorf 09 in the 68th minute. He scored his first goal in the third-highest division in September 2017 in a 4-1 defeat against the amateurs of Sturm Graz. In his first season with Weiz, he made 21 league appearances in which he scored four goals. In the 2018/19 season he was used in all 30 games and scored 14 goals.

For the 2019/20 season he moved to Bundesliga club TSV Hartberg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. He made his Bundesliga debut in September 2019 when he was brought into play for Stefan Rakowitz in the 69th minute against SKN St. Pölten on the sixth matchday of that season .
