Dario Tadić (born May 11, 1990 in Odžak , SFR Yugoslavia , today Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker .

Career

society

Tadić began his career in 1998 in the youth of SC Pinkafeld and then moved to the Federal Youth Center Burgenland before moving to the youth department of FK Austria Wien at the age of 14 . In the 2006/07 season Tadić was the top scorer in the U-17 youth league with 20 goals. For the Austria U-19 team, Tadić scored 12 goals in 18 games.

On May 25, 2007, Tadić made his debut as a 17-year-old for the second team of FK Austria Wien in the first division when he was substituted on in the 76th minute for Rubin Okotie . At the beginning of the 2007/08 season, Tadić became a permanent part of the second team of Austria Wien, before he was canceled from April 2009 to January 2010 after a cruciate ligament rupture . Tadić completed 39 games in the second division, in which he scored seven goals. For the 2010/11 season, the amateur team had to be relegated to the third-class Regionalliga Ost .

On October 17, 2010, Tadić made his debut for the Austria Wien combat team. In the championship game against SV Mattersburg , coach Karl Daxbacher nominated him for the starting line-up. Tadić was allowed to participate in the 3-0 away win until the 67th minute of the game, before he was replaced by Thiago Schumacher . Since there was no shirt with his name on it, Tadić had to wear a neutral shirt with the number 28 on his back. He scored his first championship goals during his second Bundesliga match at home on October 23, 2010 against LASK Linz . With his two goals in the 31st and 35th minutes of the game, he laid the foundation for Austria Wien's 4-1 home win.

In the summer of 2012 he moved to league rivals SC Wiener Neustadt . In January 2014 he joined the second division club SC Austria Lustenau . After one and a half years in Vorarlberg , he moved to regional league team TSV Hartberg in summer 2015 . He was promoted to professional football with Hartberg in 2017. In the promotion season he scored 23 goals in 28 games and was the second top scorer in the league. With Hartberg, he also rose to the Bundesliga in 2018.

National team

Tadić made his first international appearance under team boss Hermann Stadler . On April 1, 2009, the center forward was in the squad of the Austrian U-19 national team , where he was replaced in the away game in Belgium in a 2-0 win after 67 minutes by Georg Gravogl .
