Okan Yilmaz (born October 13, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Yilmaz started his career at Innsbrucker SK . In 2009 he switched to the youth team at FC Wacker Innsbruck . In 2012 he came to AKA Tirol . From the winter break of the 2014/15 season, he was also used as a cooperation player for the amateurs of FC Wacker Innsbruck. He made his debut for Wacker II in the Regionalliga in March 2015, when he was in the starting line-up against TSV Neumarkt on the 18th matchday of that season and played through.

After more than 30 games for the amateur team, Yilmaz made his debut for the Tyrolean professionals in the second division in May 2017 when he came on for Patrik Eler on matchday 32 of the 2016/17 season against FC Liefering in the 89th minute .

In June 2017 he received a professional contract. With Innsbruck he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018 . With Wacker he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2019. Thereupon he left Innsbruck.

In July 2019 he moved to the second division SK Vorwärts Steyr . In the 2019/20 season he made 27 second division appearances in which he scored eight goals. After the 2019/20 season, he left Upper Austria again. He then switched to league competitor SKU Amstetten for the 2020/21 season .
