David Affengruber (born March 4, 1992 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Affengruber began his career at TSV Nöchling . In 2006 he came to AKA St. Pölten , where he was last employed in June 2010. For the 2010/11 season he moved to the fourth-class SV Gaflenz . In August 2010 he made his debut for Gaflenz in the national league when he was in the starting line-up against SV Stockerau on the first day of that season .

After 59 national league games for Gaflenz, Affengruber joined the regional league team SKU Amstetten for the 2012/13 season . In August 2012 he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he was substituted on for Leopold Reikersdorfer in the 66th minute on the second match day of that season against SC Retz after goalkeeper Christoph Haas was sent off with a red card.

After six seasons in the regional league, he was promoted to the second division with Amstetten in 2018 . In the 2017/18 promotion season, he made 22 appearances in the regional league. In October 2018 he played his first game in the second highest division when he was in the starting line-up against WSG Wattens on matchday 12 of the 2018/19 season.
