Dino Kovačec (born December 27, 1993 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian football player .

Career

Kovačec started his career at NK Zagorec Krapina . In 2011 he went to Dinamo Zagreb in his hometown . In 2012 he moved to the second division Radnik Sesvete , which he left after about two months and joined the NK Dubrava . In 2013 he moved to the Austrian fourth division club SV Wildon , where he stayed for six months before moving to SC Mannsdorf in January 2014 . In summer 2014 he moved to third division SK Rapid Wien II . He was first used for the regional league team of SK Rapid Wien in August 2014. In May 2016 he was in the professional squad for the first time and finally made his Bundesliga debut on the last day of the 2015/16 season when he was substituted on in the final phase of the away game against FC Admira Wacker Mödling . However, this was his only use for the Rapid professionals.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the second division club WSG Wattens . With WSG Wattens, he rose to the Bundesliga as a second division champion in 2019, after which the club was renamed WSG Tirol. After eight Bundesliga appearances and 46 second division appearances for the Tyroleans, he moved to the second division SKU Amstetten for the 2020/21 season .
