Matthias Wurm (born April 3, 1993 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Wurm started his career at SKU Amstetten . In 2007 he came to AKA St. Pölten , where he played until 2011. For the 2011/12 season he returned to Amstetten. He made his debut in the regional league in August 2011 when he was in the starting line-up against the amateurs of FK Austria Wien on the first day of that season .

He scored his first goal in the regional league in August 2012 in a 2-2 draw against SV Stegersbach . After seven years in the regional league, he rose to the 2nd league with Amstetten in the 2017/18 season . In the promotion season he came to 19 missions in which he scored a hit.

In August 2018, Wurm made his debut in the second-highest division when he came on as a substitute for Patrick Lachmayr on matchday four of the 2018/19 season against FC Blau-Weiß Linz in stoppage time .
