Philipp Offenthaler (born March 3, 1998 in Amstetten ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Offenthaler began his career at TSV Grein . In 2011 he came to AKA St. Pölten , where he played until 2012. Then he returned to Grein. In the same year he moved to SG Waidhofen / Ybbs .

For the 2014/15 season he moved to SCU Ardagger . In April 2015 he made his debut in the national league when he was in the starting line-up against ASV Spratzern on matchday 21 of that season and was replaced by Michael Taurer in the 66th minute. He scored his first goal for Ardagger in September 2015 in a 5-1 win against ATSV Ober-Grafendorf , which was later canceled.

For the 2016/17 season Offenthaler moved to Germany for regional league team Wacker Burghausen . In October 2016 he played his first game in the Regionalliga Bayern when he was substituted on for Marius Duhnke in the 90th minute on the 14th matchday of that season against SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth . By the end of the season he played eleven games in the regional league and remained without a goal.

In the summer of 2017 he returned to Austria and switched to the amateurs of SKN St. Pölten . He made his first appearance in the Regionalliga Ost in August 2017, when he was in the starting line-up against the amateurs of SK Rapid Wien on the first day of the 2017/18 season and was replaced by Martin Adamec in the 64th minute . He scored his first goal in the regional league in the same month in a 1-1 draw against the amateurs of FC Admira Wacker Mödling .

For the 2018/19 season Offenthaler moved to the second division SKU Amstetten . He made his debut in the 2nd division in August 2018 when he played against the second team of FC Wacker Innsbruck from the start on the second matchday of that season .
