Philipp Pircher (born January 26, 1988 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is a former Italian ice hockey player who was active for WSV Sterzing Broncos in Serie A and Serie B for 10 years .

Career

Pircher began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HC Pustertal . He also played in the youth division of HC Gherdëina and WSV Sterzing .

He made the leap into a first team in 2004 with the second division HC Brixen , where he played for two years. Pircher also played six games with another second division team, HC Turin .

In the summer of 2006 he returned to Sterzing , where he stayed for 10 years, the last 4 seasons as team captain . He ended his career in April 2016.
