Philipp Ries

Philipp Ries (born July 10, 1989 ) is a German racing cyclist .

In 2005 Philipp Ries became German junior champion in cyclo-cross sports and German runner-up in road racing . He repeated the second place in the road championship in 2006 in the junior class. He also won a stage in the Juniors Tour of Lower Saxony . In the 2008 season, Ries and his Rothaus team won a stage in the Mainfranken Tour and took second place in the overall standings.

From 2009 to 2011 he drove for the Continental Team Heizomat . In the second half of 2011 he tried his hand at the Professional Continental Team Skil-Shimano as a stagiaire , but did not receive a contract for 2012.
