Oliver Pusztai (born October 14, 1981 in Szombathely ) is a Hungarian football player.

Career

Hungary

Pusztai began his professional career at the age of 18 with his hometown club Haladás Szombathely before moving to Balatonklub Siófok FC in 2002 . In 2003, he came to the Hungarian capital Budapest to MTK Budapest , where he stayed for one year. This year he was also allowed to run internationally. Pusztai played with MTK in the UEFA Champions League where they were eliminated in the third qualifying round against Celtic Glasgow and later in the UEFA Cup against Dinamo Zagreb .

He was also a regular for the Hungarian U-21 national team (2001-2003) and played in qualifying for the U-21 European Football Championship in Germany .

In 2004 Pusztai moved to Győri ETO FC , which he stayed with for two years. From 2006 to 2008 he was again under contract with Rákospalotai EAC in Budapest .

Austria

After almost 100 league games in Hungary in 2008, he made his way to Austria to SK Austria Kärnten . After two seasons with the Carinthians, the club was relegated, and Austria went bankrupt. Pusztai then moved to SK Austria Klagenfurt in the Regionalliga Mitte in 2010 , where he stayed until 2014.

He has been with Annabichler SV Klagenfurt since 2014, where he immediately became champion in the 2014/2015 season ( Carinthian League ) and played again in the Middle Regional League the next season . In 2019 Pusztai moved - after a season in the Lower League West - to Rosental to SV St.Jakob in the Carinthian League .
