Philipp Wittrock (lawyer)

Philipp Wittrock (born June 4, 1834 in Oesterbygaard; † December 24, 1880 ) was a German lawyer and parliamentarian.

Life

Philipp Wittrock studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel . In 1857 he became a member of the Corps Holsatia . After his studies he was a lawyer in Lauenburg / Elbe from 1859 and city secretary in Schleswig from 1864 . In 1867 he was appointed district judge in Schleswig and later district court director in Lokstedt near Hamburg . Most recently he lived in Altona .

From 1873 to 1879 Wittrock was a member of the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein 6 (Schleswig without the Friedrichstadt district) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party .
