Philippe Curval
Philippe Curval (actually Philippe Tronche ; born December 27, 1929 in Paris ) is a French science fiction author, illustrator and science journalist.
Life
Curval has been associated with French science fiction since the mid-1950s and is considered one of its most important authors. A first story appeared in 1955, his first novel Les fleurs de Vénus in 1960. His work has received several awards, including the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire in 1975 and the Prix Apollo in 1977. Two of his novels have been translated into German.
