Prix Apollo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Prix Apollo was a French literary prize awarded from 1972 to 1990 for science fiction works published in French in the previous year .

In most cases the excellent works were translations into French. Since the prize was no longer awarded in 1992, the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire has awarded a prize in a category with translations into French ( roman étranger ).

The name of the award, which goes back to an initiative by Jacques Sadoul, refers to the Apollo program .
