Michel Jeury
Michel Jeury (born January 23, 1934 in Razac-d'Eymet , Dordogne ; died January 9, 2015 in Vaison-la-Romaine ) was a French science fiction writer.
plant
Jeury initially published two novels and a short story under the pseudonym Albert Higon. There then followed a pause of over a decade until Le temps incertain (German Robert Holzach's chronolytic journeys ) appeared in 1973 , a novel that has been compared by many with the work of Philip K. Dick . In it, "psychonauts" of the 21st century undertake journeys into the past, where they try to prevent the interference of a shadowy power in the timelines of the "chronolytic universe". In 1974 he was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire for Le temps incertain . In the following years, numerous other works by Jeury appeared that identified him as a politically and socially committed SF author. He was considered a innovator of French science fiction.
