Prix ​​Julia-Verlanger

The Prix ​​Julia-Verlanger is a French literary prize that has been awarded annually since 1986 for works from the field of science fiction . The prize is dedicated to the memory of the science fiction author Eliane Grimaître, alias Julia Verlanger , who died in 1985 , and was initiated by Jean-Pierre Taïeb, Julia Verlanger's widower and awarded until his death in 1991. After 1991 the award of Annick Béguin was taken over by the bookstore Cosmos 2000 and the prize was awarded together with the Prix ​​Cosmos 2000 until 1996 and then at the Festival Visions du Futur .

Today the prize is awarded by the Fondation Julia-Verlanger under the patronage of the Fondation de France at the Festival Utopiales .
