Sabrina Calvo
Sabrina Calvo (born David Calvo on 19th September 1974 in Marseille ) is a French writer, comic - scriptwriter , Games author and illustrator. She is best known as the author of Fantastik . Her novels and stories often cross genre boundaries , for example in Toxoplasma , which was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire and Prix Rosny aîné in 2018 . The setting for the novel is Montreal , where Calvo has been living next to Paris for a long time. Her subjects are often spirituality , religion and questions of (sexual) identity. In connection with trans identity , mention should be made of the comic Akhenaton (together with Thomas Azuélos) from 2006 and the novel Sous la Colline (2015). In 2017, she declared herself a transgender person on the television program Mauvais Genre as part of the Festival of Utopiales .
