Philippe Gnaegi

Philippe Gnaegi (born January 12, 1962 ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

Gnaegi holds a licentiate and a doctorate from the Faculté des sciences économiques of the University of Neuchâtel . Later he was a teacher himself at the University of Freiburg and most recently director of the École supérieure de commerce du Lycée Jean-Piaget in Neuchâtel .

In 2005 he was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel and was President of the FDP Neuchâtel between 2008 and 2009. In 2009 he was elected to the Neuchâtel State Council. After Gnaegi only achieved ninth place of all candidates in the government elections in 2013 in the first ballot, he did not run in the second ballot.

He is married with three children and lives in Neuchâtel.
