Philippe Hinschberger (born November 19, 1959 in Algrange ) is a former French football player and current coach .

Career

Hinschberger played as an active player for FC Metz from 1978 to 1992 and then completed his coaching training. From 1997 to 2001 he worked as a trainer at CS Louhans-Cuiseaux , then at Chamois Niort until 2004 , then for one season at Le Havre AC and from 2005 to 2007 again at Chamois Niort. He then worked as a coach at Stade Laval until the end of February 2014 . The club dismissed him prematurely when the second division eleven was in acute danger of relegation. After working for US Créteil , he was the coach of FC Metz from December 2015 to October 2017.
