Phillip Sellers (born August 22, 1978 ), also called "Phil", is an American basketball player .

General

Phillip Sellers was born on August 22, 1978 in the United States . There he went to St. Rose College in NCAA Division 2. His first post after college was Mönchengladbach , where he had a very good season and attracted attention. Another career station in the following years was SVD 49 Dortmund . In 2007 he was diagnosed with a serious heart defect, which resulted in heart surgery. The costs for this were borne by donations and sponsors of his former club USC Freiburg . In the 2008/2009 season he made his comeback in the German Pro B . For the 2009/2010 season, Phil Sellers moved to the 1st Regionalliga West to promoted SG Sechtem . There he helped significantly to lead the team to 5th place in the 1st Regionalliga West. For the 2010/2011 season he extended his contract in Sechtem by one year. For the 2011/2012 season, however, he finally received no new contract in Sechtem.

Other members of the Sellers family also took notice of the. The father played for the Detroit Pistons for two years and then ended his career in Amsterdam . Phillip Sellers' brother-in-law won the NBA title twice . In the 'Bulls' he played alongside Michael Jordan , Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen .
