Phubessawara Phetchamroen , called Joe (born August 13, 1975 in Surat Thani , Thailand ) is a contemporary Thai artist and painter. He is dedicated to expressionism and is the founder of the philosophical-artistic direction "Post Spectrum Art".

Life

Phubessawara Phetchamroen, also known by his nickname "Joey", was born on August 13, 1975 in Surat Thani, Thailand. After his childhood in Surat Thani, he made his way to the capital Bangkok , about 640 km away , to attend the Thaivijitsilp Art School and the Chang Silp Art College . He then completed the Print Making and Fine Arts course at Burapha University in Bang Saen . From 2001 to 2004 he worked as an artist in the northern city of Chiangmai . After a short excursion into the film and advertising industry as Assistant Art Director , he looked for his freedom as an artist again and found it in southern Thailand, on the island of Ko Pha-ngan . He opened a bar in the jungle called “LivingArtSpace Makkarbar ”, which should also offer other artists, tourists and locals a space for art. After three successful years, he decided to open a hotel on the beach just a few meters away, the "White Wind Resort and spa". In 2010 he fell in love with Austria, where he has lived as a freelance artist ever since and has continued to develop both artistically and professionally.
