The Lucas nunatak is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Casey Range of the Framnes Mountains, it rises 1.5 km south of the Woodberry Nunatakker .

Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . A team of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions visited him in April 1962. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him after Frederick Michael Lucas (1924-2006), head of the Mawson station in 1962.
