The Lawson nunatak is a small toothed nunatak found in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Masson Range of the Framnes Mountains it rises 3 km southeast of the Branson Nunatak .
The Nunatak served a 1968 campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions as a fixed crossing point for trigonometric surveys of the area. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after Edgar J. Lawson, who assisted with the 1967 surveys.
