Pia Maiocco

Pia Maiocco (born February 25, 1962 ) is a former American bassist and background singer for the hard rock band Vixen .

She is married to American rock guitarist Steve Vai , whom she met at Berklee College of Music . She appeared on some of Vai's albums, such as Flex-Able . You and Vai have two sons.

In 1984 she starred in the comedy film Hardbodies . She was also involved as a harpist on Bob Carpenter's album Sun, the Moon & the Stars (2002) and Joe Satriani's Strange Beautiful Music (2002).
