Pier Antonio Capobianco

Pier Antonio Capobianco (born January 1619 in Naples , † October 30, 1689 ) was an Italian Roman Catholic bishop .

Capobianco, who obtained a doctorate in theology in Naples in 1642, was appointed Bishop of Lacedonia on March 12, 1663 . On September 9, 1672 he resigned from his office as bishop and went to Rome . The Pope then appointed him the Datar of the Penitentiary , one of the top three courts of justice of the Catholic Church. He held this office until his death.
