Hotel de Rohan (Paris)

Pierre Alexis Delamair (also de Lamair and Delamaire , * 1676 in Paris ; † 25. July 1745 in Agde ) was a French architect of the baroque .

He was the son of Antoine Delamair and, like him, initially worked as a royal building contractor - with Robert de Cotte as supervisor. At the beginning of the 18th century he was primarily in the service of the Rohan family , especially Cardinal Armand I. Gaston Maximilien de Rohan-Soubise , Prince- Bishop of Strasbourg .
