Pierre Longue (Noyal-sous-Bazouges)
The Pierre Longue (also called Menhir de Landes-Ros ) is a menhir in Noyal-sous-Bazouges , south of the D 796 road to Bazouges-la-Pérouse in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in France .
The approximately 5.1 meter high granite menhir , the four sides of which are aligned with the cardinal points, was Christianized with a stone cross between 1846 and 1915 . The menhir, inclined slightly to the south, has the shape of a pyramid with four surfaces of different widths at the base (1.60 m, 0.80 m, 1.80 m and 1.70 m).
The menhir was classified as a monument historique in 1889 .
