Pierre Pagani

Pierre Pagani (born November 11, 1950 ) is a former French rally and circuit racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Pierre Pagani competed in rallies in the 1970s and 1980s and was also involved in the World Rally Championship . His best place in the world championship was 13th in a Peugeot 504Ti in the 1976 Acropolis Rally .

On the circuit, his best result was a sixth place in the Monza 6-hour race in 1975 . The teammates in the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR in the race of the European GT Championship were Raymond Touroul and Robert Boubet . At the 1973 Le Mans 24-hour race , he was partner of Christine Beckers and Roger Dubos . The Chevron B21 / 23 failed prematurely after a defect in the injection pump.

Pagani was also active as a writer; he authored several books on rallying.
