Pierre Salvadori
Pierre Salvadori (born November 8, 1964 in Tunisia ) is a French film director .
Life
His parents come from Santo-Pietro-di-Venaco (Corsica). He came to Paris at the age of five .
He wrote his first screenplay in 1989 , which was successfully filmed under his direction in 1993 as The Killer and the Girl . The film earned the young director a nomination for César for Best First Work . In 1992 he had made the short film Ménage . The killer and the girl was in 2009 by Jonathan Lynn , entitled Wild Target - His sharpest aim neuverfilmt .
In 1995, Salvadori began working with Marie Trintignant and Guillaume Depardieu , who starred in the hit films The Beginners (1995) and Lies As Printed (1998). In 2000, Salvadori switched from the comedic genre to the dark thriller Café in Flames (2000). His greatest success so far was the film drama Dear Antoine than no trouble at all from 2018: Salvadori won the Prix SACC in Cannes and received three César nominations in 2019 (best film, best original screenplay, best director). He also won a Prix Lumières for the best screenplay .
