Enchanting Lies (Original title: De vrais mensonges ) is a French romantic comedy from 2010.

30-year-old Émilie runs a hairdressing salon. One day she receives an anonymous love letter. Little does she suspect that it comes from Jean, who works as a craftsman in her hairdressing salon and is too shy to reveal himself to her. The soulful lines leave Émilie cold, so that they end up in the wastebasket without further ado. But then you get an idea. She wants to please her divorced mother Maddy. In fact, Maddy comes back to life when she reads the words allegedly addressed to her.
