Daniel Duval

Daniel Duval (born November 28, 1944 in Vitry-sur-Seine , France , † October 10, 2013 ) was a French actor and director .

Career

Duval made his film debut in 1973 with Amélies Reise - both as a director and as a leading actor. As a director, he received the directing award at the 1977 Moscow Film Festival for L'ombre des chateaux. The 1979 film The Dropout with Miou-Miou is one of his best-known works. Melvil Poupaud's father is one of his later most important roles in The Time That Remains .
