Pierre Seron (born February 9, 1942 in Chênée near Liège ; † May 24, 2017 ) was a Franco-Belgian cartoonist and author. He lived near Nîmes in southern France.

Life

Pierre Seron received his training at the Saint-Luc School of Art in Saint-Gilles, just like before him. B. also André Franquin . Seron was clearly influenced by his style and his successful series Spirou and Fantasio , especially in his early days.

Works

Seron's most important and best-known works in Germany are the two series Die Minimenschen (also under the title Herbie Huppser and the Micronauts ) and The Centaurs . In addition, the stories of The Mini Girls , Seron's own erotic parody of the Mini People, and The Millers have appeared in Germany .
