The Pierrebotnen ( Norwegian ) is a mountain basin in the Sør Rondane of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located on the west side of the Oyayubi-one ridge in the northeastern part of the Brattnipane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973. The name giver has not been passed down.
