Pietro Francesco Costa
Pietro Francesco Costa (born February 9, 1594 in Rome , † March 14, 1654 ) was an Italian clergyman and bishop of Albenga .
Life
He was a nephew of Pier Francesco Costa , Bishop of Savona , with whom he is sometimes confused. On April 29, 1624 he was appointed bishop of Albenga. He received his episcopal ordination on May 19, 1624 Cardinal Domenico Rivarola ; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Luni e Sarzana , Giovanni Battista Salvago and Vincenzo Landinelli , his predecessor as Bishop of Albenga. He died after almost 30 years as Bishop of Albenga.
