The Roman Catholic Diocese of Savona-Noli ( lat. : Dioecesis Savonensis-Naulensis , ital. : Diocese of Savona-Noli ) is one in Italy located Roman Catholic diocese based in Savona .
history
The diocese of Savona-Noli was established in the 10th century as the diocese of Savona and subordinated to the archbishopric of Milan as a suffragan . On April 5, 1806, the diocese of Savona was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Genoa as a suffragan. The diocese of Savona was annexed to the diocese of Savona on November 25, 1820 by Pope Pius VII with the Apostolic Constitution Dominici gregis, the diocese of Noli .
On September 30, 1986, the Diocese of Savona and Noli by was the Congregation for Bishops with the decree Instantibus votis in Diocese of Savona-Noli renamed.
