Church region of Liguria
The church region Liguria (Italian Regione ecclesiastica Liguria ) is one of the 16 church regions of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy and comprises seven dioceses .
Territorially, it covers most of the Italian region of Liguria , with the exception of the northern part of the province of Savona and the north-eastern part of the metropolitan city of Genoa . It also includes the eastern half of the Piedmontese province of Alessandria and the southern tip of the Lombardy province of Pavia .
