Vittorio Lupi (born April 4, 1941 in Ceriana ) is an Italian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Savona-Noli .

Life

The Bishop of Ventimiglia , Agostino Rousset , ordained him a priest on May 30, 1964 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Savona - Noli on November 30, 2007, and he was instituted on February 1 of the next year.

The Archbishop of Genoa , Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco , ordained him episcopal on January 27 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Alberto Maria Careggio , Bishop of Ventimiglia-San Remo , and Giacomo Barabino , Former Bishop of Ventimiglia - San Remo . He chose Gressus meos dirige as his motto .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on October 20, 2016.
