Mario Ceccobelli

Mario Ceccobelli (born August 14, 1941 in Marsciano , Province of Perugia , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus Bishop of Gubbio .

Life

Mario Ceccobelli received on 3 September 1966 by the Archbishop of Perugia , Raffaele Baratta , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 23, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Gubbio. The Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve , Giuseppe Chiaretti , donated him episcopal ordination on January 29, 2005 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Zomba , Allan Chamgwera , and the Bishop Emeritus of Gubbio, Pietro Bottaccioli . The inauguration took place on February 6, 2005.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on September 29, 2017.
