Pietro Generali (born October 19, 1958 in Bologna ) is a former Italian basketball player who won the silver medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow with the national team . He also took part in the 1981 European Championship with Italy .

Generali won with Sinudyne Bologna 1976 (when he came to only two appearances in his first season), 1979 and 1980 the Italian championship and in 1981 moved into the final of the national championship cup . From 1983 to 1988 he was active for JuveCaserta Basket . He reached the finals of the Italian championship in 1986 and 1987 with Oscar Schmidt's team and won the Italian Cup in 1988. Generali then moved to Benetton Treviso , where he was national champion again in his last first division year in 1992. He ended his career with Floor Padova in 1994.
