Pietro Quaroni
Pietro Quaroni (born October 3, 1898 - † June 11, 1971 ) was an Italian diplomat .
Pietro Quaroni began his diplomatic career in 1920 and was accredited in Constantinople , Argentina , Russia and Albania for the first twelve years .
In 1935 he went to Saloniki as consul general , and in 1936 as ambassador to Kabul . In 1943 he became a representative of the Italian government in Moscow and later ambassador. In 1946 he was a member of the Italian delegation to the peace conference. In 1947 he became the Italian ambassador in Paris , then in Bonn and London .
From 1964 he was President of the RAI . In 1966 Quaroni was awarded the order against the seriousness of the Aachen Carnival Association.
His son Alessandro Quaroni later also worked as a diplomat.
