The film documents the current developments and backgrounds in the dispute over the ordination of women in the Roman Catholic Church . The film reports on the first ordination of seven Roman Catholic theologians as priests on the Danube . These women were the Roman Catholic theologians Ida Raming , Ines Müller , Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger , Adelinde Theresia Roitinger , Gisela Forster , Pia Brunner and Dagmar Braun Celeste . In the further course of the film it is documented that another hundred Roman Catholic theologians were ordained in the United States, Canada, France and Brazil. The film also shows how the Vatican reacts to these developments.
