Piotr Kępiński

Piotr Kępiński (born June 23, 1964 in Poznan ) is a Polish poet , literary critic and essayist .

Life

Kępiński attended high school in Poznan and after graduating from high school studied Polish at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan . From 1997 to 1999 he was deputy editor-in-chief of Czas Kultury magazine and editor-in-chief of Megaron magazine . He was the head of the cultural section of the Dziennik newspaper and Newsweek Polska magazine . He works with the magazines Nowa Europa Wschodnia and Twórczość . From 2006 to 2016 he was a member of the jury for the Central European Angelus Literature Prize . Since 2008 he has been a member of the jury for the Silesius Wroclaw Poetry Prize . He lives in Rome .
