The Pipkin rock (of English pipkin , Grapen ' ) is a small and unvereiste Island in Marguerite Bay before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the group of Faure Islands , it is northeast of Dismal Island .
Participants in the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908–1910), led by polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot, discovered and mapped the Faure Islands in 1909. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out measurements in 1949 and named the island after the historical one because of its insignificant size Cookware.
