The Pirgos peak (English; Bulgarian връх Пиргос wrach Pirgos ) is a 850 m high and rocky mountain at the Oskar-II.-coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 3.83 km east of Humar Peak , 4.82 km south of Furen Point , 5.63 km northwest of Caution Point and 6.08 km north-northeast of Mount Birks in the Austa Ridge . The Borima Bay is north, the veselie Glacier south of him.
British scientists mapped it in 1976. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the ancient city of Pirgos in southeastern Bulgaria .
